I have to confess that I was wrong about Sonia Sotomayor who - in my opinion - reaches her conclusion first and then works backwards to find legal reasoning.  This has been my feeling ever since the disgraceful "bake me a cake" ruling.  I guess even this case was a bridge too far.

Otherwise, there is no shortage of "legal scholars" who let their Trump hatred override objective judgement of the Constitutional text and meaning.
