Move those goalposts

NY Post: "The ‘no evidence’ claim about Biden corruption is looking increasingly ridiculous"
Joe Biden’s defenders have been on a wild ride this past year.

It began with them arguing that the president knew absolutely nothing about his family’s influence-peddling business to arguing that it’s no big deal that ChiCom wire payoffs happen to have Biden’s home address listed on them.

The quality of the excuses, unsurprisingly, has been deteriorating rapidly.

They largely entail repeating the words “no” and “evidence” in a perpetual loop.
As I noted, there are multiple polls out there indicating the American people aren't so easily fooled despite the willful blindness of the likes of Philip Bump.

I read the whole article but I couldn't find these quotes from Republicans (of many).

“There was an outcry from rank-and-file that want a [continuing resolution]. We’re tired of fucking around with these whack jobs.”
—Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE)

“It’s a shit show in the House. It’s always a shit show in the House. Eventually what’s going to happen is a government shutdown that will not go well for us.”
—Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

“[The MAGA Representatives] have, frankly, been stuck on stupid.”
—Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY)

“Unless you get everything, shut it down.”
—Retarded 2024 GOP nominee for President Donald Trump

^ Mistakenly posted here.
It's for the equally dense "chase your dreams" post claiming that Americans will blame President Joe Biden for a House shutdown.

They refer to democratic evidence presented. Republican evidence will be ignored because it is speech they hate to hear.
