Despite the choreographed GOP rescue mission on this subject, everybody saw President Trump back white supremacists at Charlottesville. Not fake news, not mass hypnosis, not trick photography, not an imaginary story.
This urgent revisionism may make Republicans feel less grungy about themselves about supporting an unabashed racist, but that's all.
