People who don't watch football vow to not watch football

MSN Sports: "Fans launch petition to boycott NFL if Kaepernick remains unsigned."
A group of fans who believe Colin Kaepernick is being blackballed by the NFL have launched a petition threatening to boycott the league if he isn't signed to a roster this season.
The Change.org petition, titled #NoKaepernickNoNFL, has received more than 31,000 signatures as of Saturday afternoon.
We'll miss you hippies.  Years ago, I bet a co-worker that the NFL would never allow Michael Vick to play after what he did to those dogs.  This guy's rationale was that Vick was good enough that teams would overlook his transgressions.  (He won a Coke).  Maybe Vick got a second chance because he was willing to put his past behind him for a bigger goal.  I sense that the NFL teams think that Colin can't give himself over to the team.

Kaep's numbers have fallen off a bit (slight understatement) since his Super Bowl appearance. Safe to say that he's not Michael Vick - I think he's done in the NFL.

An obvious political tell for anyone is which fake group they're annoyed by: the imaginary people who supposedly "boycotted" the NFL and the 2-win 49ers because of Kaepernick's intolerable kneeling, or the online click-protest liars who pretend they're going to "boycott" the NFL if they don't get their Kaepernick.

The NFL has brought back murderers, abusers, addicts... so long as they can play football. Kaepernick's fading job status and his paltry 52 QBR over the past two seasons tell us literally nothing about politics.

31,000 anti-NFL signatures, though, that's a movement that can't be ignored. It's nearly half as many signatures as the Change.org petition to let the character Deadpool host an episode of "Saturday Night Live."

Are you allowed to say that? That maybe he's just not that good a quarterback?

Nope - gotta be race. That's what they told me at "The Root."

And over at "the Fox News," they told you that Kaepernick is hated by his teammates.

This past season, Kaepernick's teammates voted to give him the team's Len Eshmont Award, given to one 49ers player for exemplifying inspiration and courage each year since 1957.

Some people say stupid stuff. Stupider people believe it because they want their feelings to be fact.
