Greatest invention ever (crosswalk technology subcategory) - Via Chive, here's a video of a crosswalk console in Germany.  When you're allowed to cross the street, the screen will show a green bar that indicates how much time is remaining.  But when you're waiting, the console will allow you to play a game of Pong with the person across the street.  Technology is fun.
