One for his wife and one for his girlfriend. Matt Welch found an old Edwards' tut-tutting over Bill Clinton:
"I think this President has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen."John Edwards probably won't be invited to Denver.

Eric: This is Eric ,a sometime commenter and often reader. I enjoy your view, but "trial lawyer" was a cheap shot. I was a trial lawer for 35 years and had you known me I would have had you respect for my character and forthrightness. To equate me with Mr. Edwards is libelous. Best, Eric
Eric, this (un)story would have been yesterday's news had JE confessed the whole thing, like any sane person might have been expected to. Now that he's (inexplicably & moronically) dangling this denial about fatherhood out there, $cha-ching!$ we've got guaranteed DNA drama not only through the olympics, but also through the odemocratic convention. *Yippie-Kai-Yay-Mother-Scratcher!* Although there's NO WAY the dems are stupid enough to let this jackass open his pie-hole in front of one of their microphones.
Oh wait, this IS the democratic party I'm talking about.
John Edwards: the douche-bag that just keeps on giving.
Yeah, that was cheap. I fixed it.
I didn't want to give Edwards more than one post, but that guy totally creeps me out. Bob Shrum, who was an adviser to John Kerry, wrote a book saying that when Edwards was being vetted for the VP spot, he told Kerry a heart-rending story about his son dying, one that he had "never told anybody before."
Except that Edwards had told the exact same story to Kerry some years ago and - likely - told it to many others. It's just a sign of how low "Mr. Two Americas" will sink.
