Smoke more: the government needs the cash - From the "can't possibly be true" file: "The Maryland pols are so afraid [people are buying cigarettes in Virginia] that they've made it a crime for residents to carry two packs of cigarettes that weren't purchased in the state." Good luck enforcing that, Maryland.

You have GOT to be kidding me? This reminds me of studying colonial history with my son. The way that England would tax the colonies...but they were bold to do it from ACROSS the sea...nowadays, our representatives will do it right here in front of us...it's a sad testimony to the fact that we don't oppose it, we are a strange combination of lethargic and overwhelmed with life....
