funny comparison.. altho I prefer to think of the Democrats as 2nd graders on a family bike outing, riding a 'tag-a-long' child carrier that is essentially a half-bike attached to the back of an adult bicycle
the Democrat/child has handlebars to give him the illusion of control, and pedals to spin his heels while the Republican/adult puts in the effort to go places
once there, the Democrat/child will proudly say "look how far I went!" as the Republican/adult smiles politely
