George Will on ABC noted that VP Cheney raised Kerry's Senate record (or lack thereof) much better than President Bush did. Fair enough - it wasn't as if Jim Lehrer was going to ask Kerry about it.

Kerry's sorry record has to be brought up all day every day until the election. All he does is stand on the sidelines while pointing his finger and declaring that he could do things better, and that's smarter than everybody else. etc. etc. When pressed for specifics, fingerpointers rarely have anything to say and when asked about their experience with regard to solving problems, fingerpointers are usually silent. Same with Kerry.

New subject: the Blogger comment screen has got to go. Betsy over at Betsy's Page used to use the Blogger comment screen, but she recently changed over to Holoscan (not sure about that name), and she's now getting lots of comments.

"Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of Senate, the presiding officer. I'm up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they're in session. The first time I ever met you was when you walked on the stage tonight."
