This just in: Two Militants Killed in Mecca Shootout

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Two militants were killed Monday in a shootout with police in the holy city of Mecca, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.
Police foiled a terrorist operation "that did not respect the sanctity of holy places and the month of Ramadan" — the holy month of fasting that began days ago, SPA quoted an unnamed Interior Ministry official as saying.
