The Reign of Terror in Northampton

Western Massachusetts update.  The Boston Globe has a story about the Soviet purge in the Leftist dystopia of Northampton: "The liberal Western Mass. city where the left is eating its young — and old."

When we were younger, my wife and I used to travel to NoHo regularly for the restaurants and art scene.  In the intervening years, the arts scene that used to attract top name stars has disappeared.  The restaurant scene still exists but it's nothing special (anymore) and way too expensive.  The sidewalks are dirty and full of beggars and the police won't do anything.

Now the purity tests and struggle sessions are in full swing because the Communists will not allow the slightest bit of deviation from the Party line.
