I lived in San Diego for 20 years. For the first 15 it was amazing, then it turned from a great place to live to a great place to visit. Then it began to turn into a shithole as the liberals took over and I left. For decades, San Diego and Orange counties politically counterbalanced Los Angeles and San Francisco. As San Diego became overwhelmed with illegals, drugs and the military downsized the counterbalance ended and we now have a state in free fall and decay. Students in Mississippi now have higher test scores than California.
