That's right: even at intimate events with friendly crowds, Biden can't recite his campaign talking points without a crutch. I've known this for a while because if you compare the transcripts for these events they are identical.

What's wrong with those donors? Do they want his fundraising pitches to be as incoherent as his debate answers? Do they think there's no difference in the cognitive resources needed to speak extemporaneously, and those needed to read text robotically?
