Racism has always been an effective political strategy. As the Reverse Freedom Rides of 1962-63 showed us, everything new is old again.
The brilliance will be slightly less brilliant when the Republican House obediently tanks the bipartisan border deal.
Imagine waking up at 2:00 AM with the brainstorm of the above comment impelling you to get up and turn on your computer.
That poor guy must have woken from a nightmare where the Republicans chose not to share the blame for the open border with Biden.
When the GOP House kills the border deal, it should be considered an in-kind contribution for the reelection campaigns of Senators Jon Tester, Sherrod Brown and Jacky Rosen.
