As I predicted

Hot Air: "Shopping the Folsom Street Target in San Francisco is like shopping Folsom Prison."

Actually, the specific prediction I made was that we're heading towards a retail market where everything is ordered and shipped to Amazon lockers.  Target locking up everything in their store is simply a precursor to this future.

Macy’s, North Face Robberies Highlight Aggressive Shoplifting Epidemic

Violent encounters between increasingly aggressive shoplifters and loss prevention staff at retail stores continue to be a problem, as was evidenced last week in an incident at a Fort Lauderdale, Florida-area Macy’s.

Police on Tuesday last week responded to reports of shoplifters fleeing after having ransacked clothing items and allegedly pepper-sprayed an employee before fleeing to the parking lot, according to WPLG TV in Fort Lauderdale.

‘Professional roaches’: Businesses fed up with smash-and-grab crimes

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — It happens within minutes. Swarms of thieves use tools to bash into a store and quickly swipe thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, and business owners in Memphis are fed up.

It only took one minute and 25 seconds to clear the shelves. They grabbed every sneaker they could before bolting.

Each time, the loss was crippling.

Worthen said it was worth “six figures worth of merchandise and shoes” including the shoes he stowed away for his charity. Shoes he planned to give to the homeless.

“It’s very bad for business. It’s very bad for the community. It’s very bad for the economy of Memphis,” he said.

Nicknamed for what they look like, smash-and-grabs have recently made our headlines.

At least twenty people cleared out most of Valid Kixx shoe store in Hickory Hill in November.

This month, cameras also caught this trio wielding hammers in Mr. Gold Box in Wolfchase. They shattered glass cases and stuffed their backpacks with $30,000 worth of jewelry.

It’s a trend that’s happening nationwide.

According to the FBI, shoplifting dropped 46% between 2019 and 2021. Thank you, Joe Biden!!

According to the NRF, organized retail crime (the kind of video you see on YouTube and Tucker Carlson — but now, only on YouTube) costs companies just 7 cents for every $100.00 in sales.

Masturbation is all about fantasy scenarios. So you keep right on rubbing it out to your liberal crime wave crisis.
