Why would Warren G. Harding do this?

I caught this misstep from Dementia Joe yesterday:
Look, in 1922, the price for one blood pressure drug that millions of Medicare patients — beneficiaries rely on went up one — went up by 500 percent.
Harding did this even before Medicare existed.

Fixating on these "57 states"/"misunderestimated me" kind of trifles.

Meanwhile it's been two months, and not a Viking peep yet about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago and the classified nuclear documents and the GOP lapping up their leader's preposterous list of alibis.

"Dementia Joe, Dementia Joe, Dementia Joe" says Minutiae Pundit.

I followed the link to the official White House transcript and it read just like you reported. Then while I was trying to save the page as a pdf, it reloaded and they had corrected the transcript by crossing out the 1922 and adding [2022].

What I'd like to know is if the 1922 was on the teleprompter! He makes a lot of mistakes even with having a teleprompter but did he misread it or did the speech writer and the folks editing and proofreading it totally drop the ball?

Either is not a good sign of any competence in this administration.

The man's brain is pretty much just a headful of tapioca pudding, hence my name for him - Pudding Brain.

Does 5 to 0 represent the stages of grief? Aw. And the 2022 "red wave" felt so real to you.

By definition, a dingleberry stubbornly clings to an unclean asshole. Who colluded with Russia and said that racists were good people.
