South Bend use to have two adjacent streets, one one-way going north and the other going south. Each street was 3 lanes and there was a bicycle lane as well I believe. Mayor Pete pushed changing them to both having two-way traffic. So the city went from a 3 lanes going north and 3 lanes going south where you could pass others to a total of 2 lanes in each direction with no ability to pass and the entire lane can be used as a bike lane - with no way to pass the bikers.
Oh, and they've added a lot of round-abouts as well.
I won't even go into South Bend if I can avoid it at all now.

Pretty much what I expected from Mayor Pete!

It really says something about the Democrat's bench that this guy is considered a frontrunner for 2024.
