The Corner: "The New York Times’ Echo Chamber."  "The New York Times opinion section has published, as of 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning, seven consecutive pieces about the need to reform the Supreme Court."

Arrogant victimhood. Never gets old.

I thought that conservatives believed in the free market. Don't like the NY Times? Go start a newspaper that will publish "Her Confirmation Was NOT Unscrupulous." Read your paper and smile.

Also, convince the public that your newspaper is credible. That's the hard part. Once accomplished, watch the marketplace of ideas flow towards you.

I wonder why that's never happened? I mean, you've got the #1 cable news channel! Why isn't Tucker Carlson the new Walter Cronkite?

Why isn't Tucker Carlson the new Walter Cronkite?

Because Cronkite was an anchor on a Big Three network back in the 1960's and 1970's when when they had thirteen VHF channels and cable wasn't even invented yet? Your ignorance on that point is remarkable, yet typical of liberals who think they know everything.

If anything is exemplary of "arrogant victimhood", it's a newspaper giving seven sharp shrieks at the sky because a judge with a judicial philosophy they don't like got placed on the court.

And the clown who placed that comment is quite the arrogant victim himself because "Dose Bad Wepubwikans Confuwmed A Judge In A Unscwoopuwous Manner!" Waaah, Waah, whine your ass off, loser.

The Carlson-Cronkite comparison is about relative credibility, Roger. "Most trusted man" versus... well, Tucker Carlson. Wash the hot jizz out of your ears and try to stay on topic.

Trolly does back to back "I know you are but what am I"s, which is twice as compelling.

The chief of staff at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration fired the agency’s acting chief scientist after the latter asked Donald Trump’s appointees to acknowledge NOAA’s scientific integrity policy, The New York Times reports. Craig McLean, the acting chief scientist at NOAA, sent an email last month to several new employees at NOAA who had been installed by the Trump administration requesting their acknowledgement of the agency’s rules that prohibit changing research and data to fit a political agenda.

Dr. Erik Noble, the newly appointed NOAA chief of staff and a former White House policy adviser, wrote back, “Respectfully, by what authority are you sending this to me?” McLean said that his job as acting chief scientist entailed maintaining ethics across NOAA. Noble responded the next day, “You no longer serve as the acting chief scientist for NOAA. Thank you for your service.” In McLean’s stead, Noble hired Ryan Maue, a former researcher for a libertarian think tank.

The Carlson-Cronkite comparison is about relative credibility,

Yes, it's now a 'relative' comparison, which isn't what you said in your first post. I'll take a wild guess and say your weekend job is working at Gillette Stadium, moving the goalposts whenever it's required.

Can't wait to see how you tie yourself in logical knots now...

Your dumbness isn't even annoying. You shan't even get an AH HA HA. The entire post is about conservative media's inability to gain credibility with anyone outside the base, and how that failure makes them cranky. Perhaps you skipped the words, and only read the spaces between them?

Or maybe you're just crestfallen because Tucker Carlson's hourlong Tommy Bobulinski conservative media failure spectacular had absolutely no impact.

September 28: Biden ahead by 7.0%
October 28: Biden ahead by 8.8%

No change in Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada...

Biden further up in Michigan, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Hampshire...

Biden now winning in Georgia and Iowa, where he had been trailing on 9/28...

Tick tock, tick tock.

For at least the third time, I will challenge you to put your money where your mouth is, but this time I'll up the stakes a bit. Let's wager $100 on each of the above mentioned states. For example (just to make sure you understand the terms) winning six states nets one $600 and losing four costs one $400, for a net win of $200. A win is defined by the Electoral College votes going to the candidate in question winning that particular state.

Click on my name above (since I have the balls to post by my real name and you don't), then click on that link that says Email on the left hand side. You will then provide me with your name and address and an affirmation to accept the bet and to abide by the rules of the bet.

Time to put up or shut up.

But Roger, I mailed you my real name and address. They must have mysteriously disappeared, just like Tucker Carlson's confidential collection of "DAMNING HUNTER DOCUMENTS."

Seriously, get a load of this screwball video. Is it more pathetic because it's a lie, or is it more pathetic because nobody at Fox News has heard about the invention of the PDF?

So you're gonna wimp out again? That figures, chickenshit. Now go get your fuckin' shine box...

Challenge you... money where your mouth is... I have the balls... put up or shut up... wimp out. And your automatic middle school "your a fag with a fag boyfriend which makes you fags LOL" taunts that clearly aren't having the effect they did in middle school. Yet you sure do get mad when I give it back to you.

You have masculinity issues that no wager can fix, Roger. I'm not your therapist, I'm your abuser.

Ordinarily I would answer your locker room challenge by saying "Suck my dick." But that would send you into another confused shame spiral. To do that to you now, at the start of what is going to be one of your worst weeks, would be cruel. So I'll just say "Thanks, I'm good."

Roger Bournival said...

Yes, I readily admit have masculinity issues. I am and you're not.

You need to test run these retorts of yours by running them past someone before you just go ahead and post them. Is there anyone who cares about you?
