Have to admit, I've been intrigued about BO lately. He's made some interesting cabinet appointments -- not the least of which is Robert Gates, which I personally think was a terrific choice.
I did not expect that he would buck the Dems' wishes that he basically set up a coup and push Bush out of office before Jan 20.
Interesting too that since he's been learning his new job, in "training" with Bush, he's backed off a lot of his campaign trail promises. I don't see that as a bad thing, regardless of what Politico has to say.
So far, the guy has been more of a class act than I would have given him prior credit for. Let's just see if that continues....
From "he's the terrorists' socialist pal" to "he's the center-right scourge of DailyKos.com" in less than 3 weeks. The right's unworried do-over spin is as amazing as it is hilarious.
