Is today “Beat up on Democrats” Day? There are a whole bunch of critical articles today including:

Ron Brownstein in the LA Times: “Democrats are lost in the shuffle while GOP holds all the cards”

A Washington Times editorial about an ideological civil war among the Dems: “Centrist Democrats warn liberals”

Joe Klein in Time magazine: “A New Idea for Democrats: Democracy - In focusing too much on the legal process, the party is in danger of losing the people”

and by way of Arts & Letters, here’s Marc Cooper in a tart book review which he counter-titles: “Thinking of Jackasses: The grand delusions of the Democratic Party.”
