A good second question would be, "When the full weight of the Republican party is systematically applied to a heavily Republican state, and the result is a 50/50 shot, what does that tell you?"
Powerline has Thune 50% to Daschle 46%, but I do not know the source fo the data. Could be very good news. Now if my fellow wisconsinites would get their collective s$#t together and help dump Russ Fiengold (sp) the senate would be a much better place.
