Chaser: "Unhinged attacks on the candidate and his voters helped him win in 2016. They may do so again."
Democrats are having a panic attack as Donald Trump pulls ahead in national and battleground polls with a little more than a week to go. Three surveys in the past week show that voters rate him more favorably than Kamala Harris, and Gallup found that his positive rating has hit 50% for the first time in his three campaigns. All of this comes despite, and perhaps because of, unhinged Democratic attacks on him and a partisan press that doesn’t attempt to disguise its bias. Mr. Trump is suddenly becoming a sympathetic antihero.
Trump bumped up another 0.1% in the RCP popular average today. Keep it up, Dems.
Where's the joy?
The decision to hold a Nuremberg rally the week before Election Day is probably a better “October Surprise” than any Democratic operative could have conceived.
ReplyDeleteCoulda been worse. The shock comedian at the rally was going to call Kamala Harris a “cunt” until the campaign red flagged the line.
Which means the campaign approved the jokes about garbage Puerto Ricans, the Black guy and his watermelon, the Latinos who cum in their women like they come into the U.S., and miserly Jews who cling to money.
Jon Stewart has something to say about your dive onto the fainting couch over encountering a comedian.

ReplyDeleteThanks for illustrating the title of the original post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for holding a loud racist fascist rally this close to the election.
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously, thanks.
J.D. Vance said he "didn't see" the Puerto Rico joke, so you know the event is playing just wonderfully for Republicans.
And now it's Donald Trump who "doesn't know" the Bund rally comedian," "didn't hear him," and "somebody put him up there." Must've been Open Mic Night.
ReplyDeleteTrump came into the heart of lefty territory, invaded one of their proud shrines, and shoved a rousing, overflowing rally directly and deeply up their asses.
So far, the rally hasn't been shoved up the asses you wanted.
I already knew that italicized sentence was epic, you didn't have to make it go intra-comment-thread to convince me.
DeleteSince you're the only one drooling over the imagined emotional wreckage caused by "overflow" numbers...
ReplyDeleteHow about 19,500+ for Trump on Sunday, and 75,000+ for Harris tonight?
That epically crowded feeling deep up your ass is your own criteria.
I found this great 3-level home (with basement) for you to move into after the election. Would you like it for 1 month, or perhaps 2?
ReplyDeleteSean Spicer's not doing anything these days. You could hire him cheap to declare that Donald Trump's glorious MSG crowd was far, far bigger than Harris' measly 75,000.
ReplyDeleteSplinter had the best headline about the Madison Square Garbage rally and the news outlets.
