Finished binge-watching "Dexter"

I didn't think the finale was as awful as people described.  There I said it.

    Great ending! Dexter is still out there. Serial killers (Democrats) beware!

    Gripe: the U.S. Marshal unties a guy who is known murderer, without backup, while knives are sitting at arms length?

    But I did like then ending where Dexter decides he just can't be around the people he loves without putting them at danger.
