In the face of the overwhelming and the obvious, even Republicans don't believe this kind of half-hearted glop. "It's all they got" is an unwittingly ironic title.
The emotional entropy of the trapped is understandable, though. As serial killer Ted Bundy's mother said, "Our never-ending faith in Ted has never wavered. And it never will."
Oh, yes. Despite my emotional entropy even this deplorable recognizes that it's overwhelming and obvious that this is extortion....I mean bribery...I mean high crimes and misdemeanors. You know--it's all that stuff.
