Neither one is going to reduce the debt. This fight was fought and lost in the Reagan years. The last time the Republicans controlled the Presidency and Congress, from 2005-2007, it made no difference. We're over the falls without a parachute.
ReplyDeleteI tend to agree: the only sane thing to do is to cut entitlements and both Bush (prescription drug benefit) and Obama (Obamacare) expanded 'em.

The DNC had way more cash on hand in 2010 than the RNC. In 2008, flip it: the RNC was sitting on literally 13 times more money than the DNC.
