Officers gunned down in Washington State - Four officers ambushed and murdered in cold blood. What can you say about a senseless tragedy like this? Police are combing the area for a suspect and they have not ruled out a possible accomplice.

Update - Person of interest: Maurice Clemmons

More - Unbelievable: a lifetime of crime and second chances including a commutation by then-Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. The key should have been thrown away a long time ago.

Officers white. Suspect not. Make of that what you will.

  2. I think it's closer to the Hasan deal in Texas: too many second chances and the consequences. With this guy's arrest record, it's a wonder he was walking the streets.

An excellent, insightful point. Where was ACORN on this?

Arkansas has a 7% personal income tax rate, but Washington has none. We may therefore infer that the lure of lower taxation brought the shooter to where those police officers were.

Cutting taxes = not supporting our brave men in blue.

(So, did I out-moron the previous poster? It isn't easy!)

That's right, genius. Maurice Clemmons, ward of the state, convicted felon & veteran resident of lock-ups, county jails & prisons since 1989, moved from Arkansas to Washington state to avoid those darn income taxes that had been dragging him down for so long.

    Anonymous pawn attempt = fail

No one could 'out-moron' you, sweetheart.

And thus ends Mike Huckabee's presidential asperations. Just need to cut and paste Clemmons' face into the Willie Horton commercial.

I bet you'd like me better if you knew I was white.
