ITunes rules - A couple of years ago, I heard the song "And her tears flowed like wine" by Ella Fitzgerald, a tune that seemed impossible to find in any conventional music store. But then there it was on ITunes. Cool.
I can't figure it out--there's about a hundred versions of Brown-Eyed Girl by Van Morrison on iTunes, but do they list even one version of Tupelo Honey? No!
It's just so annoying to find so much good music on iTunes--so much of it being so obscure and generally unavailable otherwise--and yet realize that many popular songs and/or artists aren't listed because of licensing hold-outs. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin being two of the more obvious examples.
I love Ella, I really do, and I can't believe I'm saying this - but her version isn't the best one.
