But that was then - Remember that time a famous Washington figure accidentally outed a covert CIA agent? There was a five-minute uproar before it was discovered that the agent was not really clandestine, but was instead only a CIA analyst. Then everybody forgot about it. Good times, good times.

    Hooray! Rove and Libby may not, technically speaking, be criminals! They may only be amoral sleazebags! Because there's no federal law prohibiting selling out national security to avenge a grudge! Rove never actually said the woman's name! George W. Bush may be able to avoid firing the man who dragged his already sagging political strength downwards! It's a great day for the right!
