The inevitable Social Security roundup

Ever since President Bush’s press conference last week, there has been no shortage of articles on America’s favorite Ponzi scheme. Here’s the latest:

Robert Pozen reiterates his case for progressive indexing in “A Win-Win Proposition A way out of the impasse on Social Security
Ankle-Biting Pundits has a series of “Talking points to counter the Left
Rich Lowry writes that the Democrats are primarily concerned with “Saving Social Security’s dishonesty
The Daily Debunker counters the NY Times, EJ Dionne, and others opposed to reform.
Finally, USA Today reviews a new USAT/CNN/Gallup poll in “Social Security sacrifices expected”: “A solid majority of Americans predict that their benefits will have to be cut or their taxes raised to ensure the long-term future of Social Security, a sign that most people are prepared to endure some pain to preserve the nation's retirement system.”
