I don’t think anybody really cares about this any longer, but I’m going to keep updating: my Senator has worked exactly 4 days in the Senate since January. He won’t resign his seat, he’s still collecting his salary, and he’s now missed 91.2% of all floor votes. That is all.
Concur with your point that there is no other job where you could never show up and still be paid.
