In news that is probably of interest only to Weekend Pundit, I'm heading to the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference in Orlando, FL where I'll be presenting a paper on "Zero-Stress Aging Behavior of Optical Fibers with Various Protective Coatings."

Unless I can find an Internet cafe or borrow a laptop, I don't expect I'll be updating, but I'll be back late Wednesday night. Go Pats! Beat Tim Russert's Bills!
