Senator AWOL plays hooky again

The United States Senate returned to business today after a four-week recess. John Kerry could have picked any day during that time to announce the obvious: that he’s running for president. Instead, he scheduled his photo-op for the very day he’s supposed to be back in Washington doing his current job of representing me and everyone else in Massachusetts.

Today Kerry made this statement: "George Bush's vision does not live up to the American I enlisted in the Navy to defend [and] the America I have for in the Senate."

Would that be the same Senate where you’ve missed 54% of all votes this session?
