There were two previous Supergirl actresses that could have done just fine in the movie. From the Supergirl TV series, Melissa Benoist (36, 5'8"), and from the movie The Flash (2023) Sasha Calle (29, 5'7"). I suspect that Melissa in particular would have handled the the publicity much better than Milly Alcock (26, 5'4") has.
